SEPTEMBER
2006: We are delighted to announce that the BMA have
awarded their prestigious Patient Information Award
for 2006 to the Endometriosis SHE Trust (UK) for their
teenage information booklet.
The booklet, which is aimed at 11 – 15 year olds,
is part of a series of three and forms the launch pad
for the SHE Trust's teenager information project:

of Ideas to Abandon
the myths of period pain - VICTORIA.
The series include:
1.
A 3 fold leaflet (Painful periods? I can help), whichexplains
what is normal and what is not normal, where to go for
help and advice. This leaflet is free on request to
the SHE Trust with a SAE (2nd class stamp will cover).
2.
An endometriosis booklet for 11 – 15 year olds
in a language they understand (the winner). This leaflet
costs £2 including p&p.
3.
An endometriosis booklet for 16 – 19 year olds
in a language they understand. This leaflet costs £2
