Living well with endometriosis: what your doctors don't tell you ...that you need to know
by Kerry-Ann Morris

The author was diagnosed with endometriosis in the summer of 1999. In September 2002, she founded the Unveiling Endometriosis Project, whose mission it is to educate women, teenage girls and their loved ones about the disease.

Morris invited women from across the world to participate in a new patient-oriented book about endometriosis, initially titled "Unveiling Endometriosis: Revealing the Faces Behind the Pain." Hundreds of women responded to the call and the result is a book that looks on life with endometriosis from the woman's perspective.

Like the previous titles in HarperCollins' LIVING WELL series, LIVING WELL WITH ENDOMETRIOSIS is an holistic approach to living with the disease.

The author offers strategies for coping with the psychological aspects of endometriosis, including how best to tell others about the condition; treatment options including alternative and complementary treatment plans; dealing with infertility; and weighing the hysterectomy option. The author has drawn on her relationship with fellow sufferers as well as medical professionals to help readers, making this a comprehensive guide to endometriosis.

Endometriosis.org is honoured that several of the articles on aspects of coping used in the book are sourced from this website. See: articles on endometriosis.
