The ERC
is extremely pleased to announce the appointment of
Erin Blakeborough as the new Director of the ERC’s
Awareness Program.
Erin, a long-time volunteer, has contributed extensively
to the ERC’s legislative and general awareness
campaigns. Awareness has long been a priority of our
organization, and we are very much looking forward to
having Erin head up this important initiative. We are
confident that through Erin’s leadership, our
extended Awareness Program will enter 2007 – our
10 year anniversary! – with a renewed sense of
motivation. We welcome and strongly encourage all interested
volunteers who would like to raise awareness about the
disease and contribute their efforts – no matter
how large or small – to join our campaign and
contact Erin via the ERC’s central awareness board
at:

Erin brings an intensive background in governmental
affairs and lobbying, advocacy, media and public relations,
project management, campaigning and community outreach
to the ERC, including her lengthy experience as a Policy
Analyst for the Center for Disability Rights, a Senior
Regional Coordinator for the New York State Assembly,
and a Senior Field Coordinator for the New York State
Assembly Democratic Committee.
We are honored to have Erin join our leadership ranks
in her new capacity as ERC Awareness Program Director.
Please join us in making Erin feel welcome!
